There are five elements of security awareness engagement:

Initial engagement
2. Sustained focus
3. Motivation to complete a unit
4. Peer pressure to improve
5. Motivation to practice decision-making
Without each of these, there can be no expectation that employees have learned how to make good risk decisions. Each element depends on the previous one.
Immersive, gamified security awareness training provides all of these engagement elements. Most solutions that say they have “gamification” address only 2 or 3 of these elements, at most.
